Basic directions of implementation of the state education policy in the 2026/2027 school year
- Supporting preschools and schools in implementing changes resulting from the Reform 26. Compass of Tomorrow, aimed at creating a school that is demanding, supportive, and friendly to student development.
- School as a place for building social resilience – shaping patriotic, civic and pro-social attitudes as well as responsibility for one’s own safety and the safety of others.
- Health education at school – promoting a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and preparing students for responsible health-promoting behaviour and first aid.
- Promoting digital hygiene and offline activity. Developing safe online skills and critical thinking, including the responsible use of artificial intelligence, as well as utilizing the functionalities and resources of the Integrated Educational Platform.
- Identifying the needs of children and youth using assessments of their functioning in preschool and school settings. Supporting preschools and schools in collaborating with parents in the educational process, providing psychological and pedagogical support, and parenting to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of support provided to each child.
- Preventing behavioral addictions and countering peer violence. Supporting the mental health of children and adolescents and providing assistance in mental health crises.
- Supporting informed educational and career decision-making, with particular emphasis on career counseling and the promotion of vocational education. Disseminating new vocational education offerings developed in partnership with industry.
- Supporting students’ curiosity and cognitive activity by promoting interdisciplinary learning and project work, and using formative assessment and feedback in student work.
