The Pedagogical Library in Radom, in a consortium with other pedagogical libraries in the Masovian Voivodeship, has purchased access to over 3,200 documents in electronic form on the IBUK Libra platform.
IBUK Libra is the best online reading room in Poland, established at the initiative of PWN Scientific Publishing House. It has been operating continuously since 2008, providing access to a constantly expanding database of legal, reliable sources. The platform includes electronic scientific and specialist publications, academic textbooks, monographs, and educational resources (dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.) from the portfolio of the PWN S.A. Group, which has been operating in the Polish market for over 70 years.
IBUK Libra received a prestigious award in the 2023 Polish Emblem “Teraz Polska” competition, thus ranking among the best Polish products, services, and innovations.
The collection includes titles from PWN and PZWL, as well as 400 other publishers. Available are, among others, academic textbooks in 43 scientific fields. The extensive selection of scholarly publications is complemented by tens of thousands of popular science and fiction titles.
