We’ve had some incredibly busy days, proving that the library is a place that connects generations. From the youngest preschoolers to passionate seniors, everyone has found a space for themselves. We invite you to read a short chronicle of our recent events!
- A Lesson in Empathy with the Moomins – Third-graders from Public Primary School No. 29 with Integration Departments in Radom visited us. The children participated in reading activities with elements of bibliotherapy. The wise “Story of the Invisible Child” served as a guide to the world of human emotions. Together, we discussed acceptance, recognizing the needs of others, and the immense power of kindness.
- The finale of the seniors’ language adventure – our wonderful seniors reached the finish line in the “Film English” project. The final session of this series was filled with cinematic thrills, lively discussions, and vocabulary review. We are proud of the commitment of our mature students, who prove that it’s never too late to learn foreign languages and pursue your passions!
- Little Agents in “Mission: Health” – preschoolers from Public Kindergarten No. 7 in Radom transformed into little explorers. During workshops, they learned the most important principles of a healthy lifestyle and staying fit.
- With a book in the fresh air – we also had the opportunity to venture beyond the library walls! Our staff members participated in the outdoor “Reading in the Glade” initiative. This event was organized by Public Primary School No. 22 with Integration Departments in Radom. Reading literature surrounded by greenery and beautiful weather was pure pleasure and a wonderful way to promote reading in our city.
